These urns are heated in a kiln with a temperature as high as 2000 degrees. They are then immersed in a pit with wood shavings, and left overnight to smoulder. With this process natural white and grey crackle lines emerge. A very interesting process which ultimately leads to a truly artistic funeral urn.
